March Break Camp had the perfect mix of weather and levels of snow for our campers to experience the end of winter and the arrival of spring.
Campers explored the snowcapped trails through the Don Valley and the icy frozen ponds at the Brick Works, observed the slow return of migratory birds in the surrounding quarry and crafted with natural and art materials to create stories beyond their wildest dreams.
Senior campers out in the quarry listening to the sounds of the winter landscape.
Outdoor Educator, Olivia Caron (aka Wild Blueberry) discussing how snow melts with a camper.
Junior campers hiking their way up the Beltline trail.
Indoor play with arts and crafts in the Bricks and Bites Kitchen.
Combining natural and art materials to animate rocks for storytelling.
Junior campers learning their way around solar engraving.
