Gifting public shares to a charity can have many tax advantages and is a win-win for you and Evergreen. If you would like to make a gift of securities, please download this form to share with your financial advisors to facilitate the gift.
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are a simple, flexible, and tax-efficient way to support charities. When you contribute cash, stocks, securities, or other assets to your DAF, you receive an immediate tax receipt from the DAF sponsor and can then recommend grants to charities such as Evergreen. You can use the information found in this document to make a contribution from your DAF.
If your place of work is already set up to make donations through Benevity or United Way you can easily direct your giving to Evergreen by providing our Charitable Registration #131815763 RR0001. You can also ask if there is a gift-matching program. There are many other third-party donation platforms you can use to make a gift to Evergreen.
