About our March Break Camp

Evergreen’s March Break Camp focuses on exploring the winter forest and ravines in Toronto’s Lower Don Valley. Campers aged 6-12 will venture through the Lower Don Valley, discovering the magical and wild side of nature in the winter.

We’ll track animals through the snow, learn about winter survival strategies from the critters that thrive here, learn to identify edible plants, build shelters and forts, and craft with ice around the Brick Works campus.

Details

We group campers together with other kids their age for the best, most fun experience.

FAQ

Do you have a Refund Policy?

Upon registering you will be charged the full amount of $405/week to secure your spot at Evergreen’s March Break Camps.

No refunds will be issued if a reservation is cancelled by a participant within 21 days of the session start date. Otherwise, camp fees are refundable, less a $10 administration fee. Please note, registrations are non-transferable.

Refunds (less the registration deposit of $10) will be issued should Evergreen cancel camp days due to changing public health regulations or COVID-19 related closures. Evergreen retains the right to change our refund policy without notice to adapt to the evolving public health situation.

Requests for cancellations or refunds must be made in writing and submitted to camp@evergreen.ca.

Will lunch be included in the camp fees?

Unfortunately, lunch or meal services will not be provided during camp programming. Campers are asked to bring their own nut-free lunch and are encouraged to bring extra nut-free snacks for each day!

What do we do in inclement weather?

We’re outside as much as possible! We love the outdoors and spend as much time outside as we can. That being said, in case of extreme or unexpected weather such as thunder, lightning, hail, extreme heat/cold, we will be moving camp programming in a sheltered space or indoors for campers to continue to have fun while staying safe.

In case of flooding at Evergreen Brick Works, or other unforeseen circumstances, Evergreen has the right to cancel camp programming as weather conditions may change unexpectedly, cancellation may be issued after camp programming has started.

Can my camper be in the same group as their friend?

Building a fun, friendly and accepting group of campers is a key goal for Evergreen Adventure Camp, and we encourage all campers to build new friendships while at Evergreen Brick Works.

To ensure this, we accept friend requests only if the campers are in the same grade program and session, and we limit the requests to one per camper. Friend requests that are not in the same grade and session group will not be considered.

Please write to camp@evergreen.ca with your friend request with your camper’s information as early as possible including their full name, registered camp session along with their friend’s camp information. We will try our best to accommodate, however, know that we are unable to guarantee friend requests.

Where can I park?

Evergreen’s Day Camp programs offer registered camp families a free parking window in all parking lots at Evergreen Brick Works from 8:45am-9:15am and 3:30pm-3:45pm for each day of camp.

Your parking passes will be shared with you in your Camp welcome email approximately one week prior to your camp session. We strongly recommend printing your parking passes to avoid being ticketed during pick-up and drop-off.

Those registered for Extended After Care will receive a separate parking pass. If parking outside those hours, you must pay at the meter. For our shuttle bus timings, please see here.
