The Winter Market is the place in Toronto to experience joy and connection this season.
Snowy weather is right around the corner, which means we’re all dreaming of sipping on a steaming cup of hot chocolate amid a flurry of joyful Winter Market shoppers.
Evergreen’s Winter Market is a place to connect with strangers and friends alike. A place for interactions that spark joy. A place for everyone to come together and experience the magic of the season.
Ontario Artisan Market and Ontario Vintage Market will be joining us again this year. We’ll also have a food court and food trucks selling mouth-watering food and drinks. And that’s not all – you can also expect children’s activities, Nature Play, live performances and so much more.
Cost:
This year is a “Pay What You Can Market”, meaning that we are asking attendees to pay what they are willing/able to when they get to the market. This allows everyone to still be able to attend also helps us raise funds that go directly back to running the site and towards beloved programming like Free Public Skating and Weekend Nature Play.
Don’t forget to add this market to your winter bucket list!

Join us for our Moroccan Mhancha: Hands-On Cooking Workshop at this year’s Winter Market!
While memories of home become all the more poignant at this time of year, Evergreen Brick Works and Newcomer Kitchen (you might recognize them from our Farmers Market!) invite you to celebrate the season with holiday cooking workshops on December 10 and 17 from 11am – 1:30pm.
Enjoy a hands-on experience with guidance from Amal and Khadeja, sisters from Marrakesh who will walk you through the fun and time-honoured process of making mhancha and dive into the rich history of Morocco. This traditional rolled pastry can be filled with sweet or savory fillings and is perfect for your holiday get-togethers.

Everyone is welcome at the Art Hive, a free, community art studio. They provide recycled, upcycled, thrift store, natural and donated materials for your creative reuse. During the Winter Market, they invite you to come and choose the art making materials that you are drawn to and see what your imagination comes up with. This is the place to relax, play with materials and share ideas and stories with others.
