Toronto's biggest year-round farmers market
Evergreen started its Saturday Farmers Market in 2007 with 25 local farmers and producers, a great location, and a great community response. At the time, many predicted that it wouldn’t last. But, last, it did. Since then, it has grown into the largest year-round farmers market in Toronto.
Open year-round, snow or shine, Evergreen’s Saturday Farmers Market is the meeting place for people from across the city—and beyond. Here you can connect with fellow Torontarians and local Ontario food producers alike.
The farmers market is moving indoors for the winter! Find us in Building 16 – TD Future Cities Centre from November until the end of April.
Did you know all our vendors are within a 205 km radius of the Brick Works? When you shop at the Farmers Market, you’re supporting 100% local Canadian businesses. Check out the map to see where they’re located:
Our goal is to foster the growth of a resilient food system for people and the planet. This means:
Plan your visit, find your favourite vendors, and discover some new ones too!
Please note: some last-minute vendor cancellations might occur without notice.
2026 Outdoor Farmers Market by Evergreen Public Markets
There are so many environmental benefits of shopping at your local farmers market including reducing food miles, producing less waste and ensuring that the food that you eat is produced using sustainable farming practices.
If you’re interested in ways that you can become a zero waste shopper at the Farmers Market, here are some options:
The Saturday Farmers Market supports over 100 local farmers, food producers, and entrepreneurs each year. Through the market, Evergreen Brick Works provides a venue to grow independent businesses and build healthy communities.
Interested in becoming one of our vendors? Apply below. New vendor applications will be added to the waitlist once capacity has been reached.
Please note, there has been an increase in scams targeting vendors and small businesses. We will only ever contact vendors from an official @evergreen.ca email account.
Want to busker at our farmers market? Musicians should apply through our Community Spotlight application and mention the farmers market in the form.
Of course! We’re all in for zero waste shopping at the Farmers Market and our vendors would love to see you participate in this. You’re more than welcome to bring your own containers and ask the vendors to fill them up for you. If you forgot to bring your own, you can borrow Muuse cups and containers at the market for free.
You can register to become a volunteer here.
Yes, it is! Find us outdoors under the Pavilions from May to October and indoors in the TD Future Cities Centre from November to April.
Now that our Farmers Market has moved indoors, please note that dogs (with the exception of service animals) are not permitted inside any of the buildings at Evergreen Brick Works.
While we love your furry friends, the buildings here are historic and we are unable to have pets inside them. We look forward to welcoming them back with you in the Spring when our Outdoor Market returns.
