Wild Blueberry Weekend

Are you WILD about Wild Blueberries? Join us as we activate the weekend markets at Evergreen Brick Works with a wild blueberry theme to celebrate this delicious super berry indigenous to North America.

Learn, taste, eat and shop from food producers, preservers, bakers, and chefs who will feature wild blueberry products and dishes as part of their regular weekend booths.

Sample deliciously fresh wild blueberries on their own or in dishes like:

  • Blueberry tapioca crepes
  • Blueberry lassi (Indian probiotic yogurt drink)
  • Arepa filled with blueberry pork
  • Wild blueberry mochi
  • Blueberry soda
  • Wild blueberry almond milk
  • Wild blueberry and mint kombucha

Wild Blueberry Tasting 

Visit the Wild Blueberry Association of North America taste testing booth to sample and learn about the benefits of wild blueberries.

Taste & Learn About Wild and Cultivated Blueberries

Chef Demo and Conversation with Christine Tizzard, the Three-Way Chef

Make sure to stop, taste, and learn about wild blueberry recipes, tips and health benefits of wild blueberries with Canadian celebrity chef and TV personality, Christine Tizzard.

Preview and buy her new cookbook, Honest to Goodness: Recipes for the Everyday Home Cook. This will be a special opportunity to have your book personally signed by chef Christine.

Chef Biography: Christine Tizzard, The Three-Way Chef, is a Newfoundland-born chef, food stylist, recipe developer and a lifelong lover of Canadian wild blueberries. Christine shares her enthusiasm and distinctive recipes with fans through her television and in-person appearances, blog and YouTube Channel. Christine is a proud member of Whitecap Books’ table of world renowned chefs and authors. She is also the author of the highly anticipated, new cookbook, Honest to Goodness; it shares her commitment to healthy eating and love for all things delicious.
