Uncover Your Creeks | Austin Drive Park, Markham

Take action to improve the health of the Rouge River with citizen-science activities taking place at Austin Drive Park in Markham. Help ensure the Rouge River remains a vital and functioning part of the urban ecosystem by: 

•    Monitoring water quality
•    Helping to manage invasive species 
•    Caring for native plants
•    Learning about the local ecology of your watershed

  • September 24 - 10am-12pm

Location and Meeting Place: Austin Drive Park is located in the North East corner of Highway 7 and Kennedy Road in Markham. Please meet at the trail head located across from the Football Rugby Club (150 Austin Drive). An Evergreen representative will be waiting to greet you. Click here for the Google map. 

All events take place rain or shine. Refreshments, gloves, and tools are provided. Please bring boots, sunscreen, work/rain clothes and your energy.
