Tree Planting and Water Quality Testing at Leno Park

        People planting restorative plants

Join Evergreen in partnership with the Town of Richmond Hill at Leno Park to enrich your neighbourhood. Plant native trees and shrubs at Leno Park and learn more about your local watershed by conducting water quality tests. Everyone is welcome!

Participants should bring sun protection (hat, sunglasses and sunscreen), a reusable water bottle and weather-appropriate clothing. Long pants are strongly recommended and closed-toed shoes are mandatory (no sandals).

Evergreen will provide all necessary tools and equipment, water refills and light snacks.

This program is in partnership with the Town of Richmond Hill, sponsored by HSBC and Intact, and supported by Environment Canada through EcoAction Funding.
