Soak up the sun at Summer Wednesdays!

Relax under the Pavilions or bask in the setting sun in the Children's Garden. Sit back with an ice cold drink, grab a bite of delicious summer fare and make the most of those warm summer evenings. The hottest place to spend Wednesday nights is at Evergreen Brick Works' Summer Wednesdays, presented by Tricon.

For dinner, enjoy gourmet selections from street food trucks or platters of seasonal food and hand-baked bread from our wood-fired oven.

Plus, join us for the Live Music Series, Presented by Muskoka Brewery, on select dates, where you can enjoy music from local bands, or drop by to shop from makers at the Etsy Market three nights throughout the summer!

Wednesday, July 4

Join us for the opening night of Summer Wednesdays! Forno Cultura returns to fire up our outdoor oven in the Children's Garden, serving delicious platters of locally roasted fare, with both meat and vegetarian options. The oven will be serving from 5:30–8pm. 

In the Pavilions we'll be hosting a selection of food trucks:

  • The Arepa Republic
  • Busters Sea Cove
  • La Novela
  • Fully Loaded T.O.

Food trucks and the Sipping Container will be open 5:30–10pm. We will also have Yoga on the Terrace at 6pm, and the Bike Obstacle course open until 8pm. Plus, drop by Ripple Farms to learn about aquaponics and tour their farm container!

Live Music Series Presented by Muskoka Brewery

With a passion for the authentic and a love for the unique, Muskoka Brewery is partnering with Evergreen this year to present three nights of live local music across our Summer Wednesdays events. Join us on the first night, Wednesday, July 4, for The Hollowbodies. Music starts at 8:30pm. 

Wednesday, July 11

Joining Forno Cultura at the outdoor oven on July 11 is Chef Michele Forgione of Impasto and Pizzeria Gema, Montreal. Together they will fire delicious meat and vegetarian dishes for everyone to enjoy. Serving in the Children's Garden until 8:30pm. 

In the Pavilions we'll be hosting a selection of food trucks:

  • Busters Sea Cove
  • La Novela
  • Fully Loaded T.O.

Food trucks and the Sipping Container will be open 5:30–10pm. Grab a drink and kick back in the Brickworks Ciderhouse Garden, Presented by Brickworks Ciderhouse. 

We will also have Yoga on the Terrace at 6pm. Plus, drop by Ripple Farms to learn about aquaponics and tour their farm container!

Etsy Pop-Up Market

Evergreen Brick Works is partnering with two fantastic groups of Etsy artisans, the Toronto Etsy Street Team & the 416 Hustlers, three times throughout the summer to bring talented local crafters, artists and makers to Summer Wednesdays.

Vote for Sustainable Cities Art Project

We are planning a new piece of public art for Evergreen Brick Works and we want your say! Drop by the BMO Atrium from 6:30-8:30pm and vote for the artist you want to create a mural as part of the Sustainable Cities art project, in partnership with Friends of the Pan Am Path. Wednesday, July 18

Joining Forno Cultura at the outdoor oven on July 18 is Chef Neil Dowson of Midtown Brewing Company, Prince Edward County. Together they will fire delicious meat and vegetarian dishes for everyone to enjoy. Serving in the Children's Garden until 8:30pm. 

In the Pavilions we'll be hosting a selection of food trucks:

Joining Forno Cultura at the outdoor oven on July 25 is Chef Charlotte Langley of Scout Canning. Together they will fire delicious meat and vegetarian dishes for everyone to enjoy. Serving in the Children's Garden until 8:30pm.

Joining Forno Cultura at the outdoor oven on August 15 is Patrick McMurray, owner of Ceili's Cottage. Together they will fire delicious meat and vegetarian dishes for everyone to enjoy. Serving in the Children's Garden until 8:30pm.

It's the final night of Summer Wednesdays, and one you won't want to miss! Forno Cultura will be firing up the outdoor oven for the final time this season. Join them for a selection of delicious seasonal veggies, breads, meats and more. Serving in the Children's Garden until 8:30pm.

Join us for the closing night of Summer Wednesdays on Wednesday, August 29 as Wing Night plays pure, unadulterated hip hop and R&B classics! Music starts at 8:30pm. 

We can't wait for you to join us for another season of mouth-watering seasonal food and craft drinks under the setting sun. Summer Wednesdays is the perfect way to beat the mid-week slump.

Forno Cultura | The Children's Garden

Back by popular demand, our outdoor oven will be fired up once more by Forno Cultura every Wednesday night from 5:30-8:30pm.

Alongside the delicious breads, pastries and baked goods they are known for, Forno Cultura's head baker Andrea Mastandrea will be working each week with a different chef from across the region to create an array of delicious seasonal dishes from the best of our local harvest.

Whilst different chefs each week will be putting their own spin on the nights offering, look out for wine pairings from a variety of our local VQA partners from Niagara to Prince Edward County, as well as a range of seasonal beers from Ontario craft breweries.

Guests can also swing by Forno Cultura’s pop up to-go counter in the Children’s Garden to pick up take home breads, and other baked goodies throughout the event.

Sipping Container | The Pavilions

Drop by the Sipping Container for an ice-cold craft beer or cider (or juice!) at Summer Wednesdays. Located in the Pavilions, our outdoor Sipping Container is the place to grab a drink and cool off on hot summer night.

Live Music Series, Presented by Muskoka Brewery | The Pavilions

Nestled in the heart of the Muskoka region, Muskoka Brewery handcrafts premium beers as unique and refreshing as the region they’re from. With a passion for the authentic and a love for the unique, Muskoka Brewery is partnering with Evergreen this year to present three nights of live local music across Summer Wednesdays.

Featuring a selection of local Toronto bands, this series will bring unique acts to Evergreen Brick Works on July 4, August 8 and August 29. Performances will start at 8:30pm in the Pavilions.

Grab a craft brew from the Sipping Container or a snack from our rotation of local food trucks and settle in for an outdoor show.

Shop through the Etsy Pop-Up Market on select dates at Summer Wednesdays! Discover unique handmade goods and connect with the local artisans who make and sell them.

Evergreen Brick Works is partnering again with two fantastic groups of Etsy artisans, the Toronto Etsy Street Team & the 416 Hustlers, to bring talented local crafters, artists and makers to Summer Wednesdays on July 11, August 1 and August 22.

All makers at Summer Wednesdays craft their own products from sustainable materials, ensuring you can not only score that special find but support Toronto’s creative community at the same time!

Yoga on the Terrace

Join us at 6pm for outdoor yoga every Wednesday night on the terrace overlooking the quarry. Cost is $10+HST per person. For details, visit the Yoga on the Terrace page.

Bike Obstacle Course

Gear up and test your skills on our drop-in bike obstacle course until 8pm! Try the skinnies, hit the ramps and rollers, or wind your way through the cone course. For details, visit the Bike Obstacle Course page.

As there is limited parking on-site, we encourage visitors to consider alternate methods of transportation such as walking, cycling, public transit or ride sharing.

Every Wednesday in July and August from 5:30–10pm.

The last shuttle bus will leave Evergreen Brick Works at 10:30pm.

Prices & Fees

Platters from Forno Cultura range from $10-$15, with dessert available for an extra cost. Food truck dishes range from $8-$15. There are no reservations. Food is first come, first served.
