National Housing Week Toronto

Together with our partners, we're leading a series of events across the city as part of National Housing Week, November 19-23.

Houses from above.

National Housing Week is a moment for Canadians to come together and acknowledge that safe, affordable housing is an integral part of strong, livable communities.

More than ever we need to band together to have a collective voice on housing in this country.

This is the fourth year in a row that we are working with partners in the GTA to raise the profile of important housing issues. Join us at one of these great events for National Housing Week November 19-23 and check out MYTORONTO's exhibit at the Toronto Reference Library throughout November.

Nov. 20 - Housing in Focus: Celebrating Community Engagement

Over the past 7 months, 11 community partners from across the City of Toronto have invited CP Planning into their communities to engage with local residents, discuss lived experiences, and explore Human Rights and housing through community. This process generated 18 maps which illustrate what their neighbourhoods would look like if affordable housing was made a priority.

The conversations are summarized in the Housing in Focus: What We Heard Report, which will be presented during our Nov. 20 event.
