Guided Bike Rides and Bike Rentals 

Bike Rentals | 10am–6pm
Tour the trails of the Don Valley with Sweet Pete's fleet of rental bikes. Choose from hybrids, cyclocross, mountain, cruisers and kid’s bikes. To reserve your bike, visit Sweet Pete's

Family-friendly Guided Trail Ride with a Naturalist | 1–3pm
Explore the plants and animals that call the Don Valley home with a relaxed, family-friendly bike tour led by naturalist, wildcrafter and educator Lee Earl.

Wild Ride! Mountain Bike Trail Rides | 10am–noon & 1–3pm
Take a wild ride through the mountain bike trails of the Don Valley with the team at Sweet Pete’s Bike Shop. Reserve your spot at rideyourbike@sweetpetes.com.
10am–noon | Beginner, family friendly ride
1–3pm | Intermediate, advanced level ride

Book Signing with Yvonne Bambrick

Meet Yvonne Bambrick, author of The Urban Cycling Survival Guide. Bring a copy of her book for Yvonne to sign, or pick one up for sale at the Evergreen Garden Market.

Pop a wheelie—and a stick bomb—as you wind your way through the Stick Bomb Rodeo and Sweet Pete’s Obstacle Course. For kids aged 8 to 12.

Decorate your bike and helmet with stickers and streamers for the big bike parade starting around Evergreen Brick Works.

Pulleys and Gears | 10am–3pm
Experiment with pulleys and gears to better understand and measure how our energy is converted through the most sustainable transport option in the world—the bicycle!

As much fun as it is to build things, sometimes it's even more fun to take them apart! Piece by piece, help us disassemble bikes for use in our Bike Works community bike shop.

Riding as a Family | 1:30pm–2:15pm
Learn city bike riding skills for the whole family with Toby Bowers, an instructor of bike mechanics with the Toronto District School Board and a certified CAN Bike instructor.

Bike  Sale, Tune-Ups and Repairs 

DIY Bike Repairs | 10am–3pm
Bring your bike to the Bike Works repair shop and use the tools to keep your bike in tip-top shape

Bike Safety Checks | 10am–3pm
Get ready for the biking season with free ABC bike safety checks (air, brakes and chain).

Bike Works Bike Sale | 10am–6pm
Pick up a gently used, refurbished kids and adult bikes for sale.

Food and Drink 

Pancake Breakfast with Evelyn’s Crackers | 10am–noon
Work up some energy for your day of biking with a pancake breakfast made with delicious local grains and yummy maple syrup with Evelyn’s Crackers

Sunday Farmers’ Market | 10am–3pm
Season opening! Shop from 30 local farmers, producers and chefs at the season opening of the Sunday Farmers' Market. Enjoy a Brick Works Brunch from the Local Food Court and more. Plus, sip local brews in the craft beer and cider garden.

Tune Your Ride will be providing their unique pedal powered set-up and we need your participation to make music happen. Come lend your legs to get the party started!

Yoga For Cyclists 

Hatha Yoga | 1–2pm
While this class is suitable for everyone, special attention will be given to alleviating muscle tightness from those who spend lots of time on a saddle. The unnatural slouched position required of most bikes can cause lower back strain and the repetitive nature of cycling means that the quadriceps, hamstrings and hips never rest. Come give your body some love and relief with yoga and help ease the tightness, create core strength and help align your spine! Click here for more info.
