World Rivers Day is a global celebration of river ecosystems and waterways in communities.

Join Evergreen's City Park Stewards and the City of North Vancouver to celebrate World Rivers Day at Heywood Park.

Bring your family and friends to help revitalise the park, by planting native trees and shrubs. Enjoy a fun filled day with activities for the whole family. There will be community booths, music, games and more!

Please dress appropriately for the weather, and wear sturdy, close-toed shoes. Bring a water bottle or reusable mug.

Everyone is welcome. Evergreen will provide tools, training, and refreshments.

Arrive in style—please consider walking, cycling, taking public transit or carpooling with friends to the event. This event goes ahead rain or shine.

We will be meeting at the entrance to Heywood Park, near the parking lot at the intersection of Hamilton Ave. and Tobruck Ave.
