Uncover Your Creeks | Pioneer Park, Richmond Hill

Take action to improve the health of the Don River Watershed with citizen-science activities taking place at Pioneer Park in Richmond Hill. Help ensure the Don River remains a vital and functioning part of the urban ecosystem by: 

•    Monitoring water quality
•    Helping to manage invasive species 
•    Caring for native plants
•    Learning about the local ecology of your watershed

Location and Meeting Place: Pioneer Park is located on the north side of Major MacKenzie Drive just west of Trench Street in Richmond Hill. An Evergreen staff member will meet volunteers at the entrance via Matthew Dinning Memorial Parkette on Kerrybrook Drive. Please note this is a different location than the 2014 events. Click here for the Google map. 

All events take place rain or shine. Refreshments, gloves and tools are provided—bring boots, sunscreen, work/rain clothes and your energy.
