Our Craft Club is going to be creating an art installation at Evergreen Brick Works using coffee cups and plastic bottles!
We need your help! We are going to be collecting these paper cups and plastic bottles so that we can start creating the installation. There will be collection bins next to the garbage cans in Building 14 (the building with Picnic Café and the Garden Market), Picnic Cafe, the Young Centre and in the TD Future Cities Centre during the Farmers Market.
Starting May 1 2024, you can view SHADOWLAND, a photography exhibit by Sasha Chapman, in the City Builders Gallery at Evergreen Brick Works. SHADOWLAND explores the tensions between the rational, built world of the conscious city and the unbuilt, unconscious ravine world that undergirds and erodes it. Twelve images from this on-going project will be paired with a soundscape as part of Toronto’s 2024 CONTACT Photography Festival.
Stay tuned for more info on the exhibit and opening times.
The Farmers Market will move outdoors under the Pavilions on Saturday, May 4.
