Day Camps

PA Day Camp

Children in a forestCampers ages 6–12 will explore the greener side of Toronto through new discoveries and adventures in the urban wild at PA Day Camp. Together we’ll unearth stories, track animals and build forts at Evergreen Brick Works.

Specific activities are tailored to the seasons and the weather, as well as to the ages and the abilities of each group. Campers will be grouped together based on ages to create an age-appropriate experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time does camp start?

You can drop off your camper as early as 8:30am. Camp starts at 9:00am.

What time is pick-up?

Pick up is at 3:30pm, unless you sign up for extended care. If you have signed up for extended care, pick-up is any time before 5:30pm.

What activities do you do?

Our day is structured in a way that gives campers a choice of activities. Our counselors will offer a variety of choices in the morning (usually including hiking, fire building and games) and campers will get to choose. In the afternoon we will play a big group game with the whole camp.

Do you take friend requests?

Not for PA Day camps. Since our campers get a choice of activities in the morning, it’s up to them to create their own groups!

How old does my camper need to be?

Our camp starts at age 6.

What happens when it rains?

We’re outside as much as possible! We love the outdoors at the Evergreen Adventure Camp and spend as much time outside as we can. That being said, we do have access to indoor space and can spend some time inside in inclement weather.

What happens in the cold and snow?

We’re outside as much as possible! We do have cold weather policies, including the possibility that camp could be cancelled if we know the day is going to be colder than -30C degrees. We will also move a lot of our programs inside in very cold weather.
