Evergreen Adventure Camp program offers 4–10 day camp sessions where campers aged 6–15 will explore the greener side of Toronto through new discoveries and adventures in the urban wild. With more nature than any other city of its size in the world, Toronto offers children and youth an ideal environment in which to uncover the wilderness that lies beneath the urban landscape. We’ve seen how outdoor play activates the body and engages the mind, inviting Evergreen Adventure campers to develop a new relationship with the natural world and inspiring a new generation of environmental stewards in the process.

Camper Age Groups
Campers will be grouped together based on grades to create an age-appropriate experience. Campers must be at least six years of age by the first day of camp, July 4 2016. This ensures young campers are able to fully participate for the entire day session.
- Junior Group—Ages 6 & 7
- Intermediate Group—Ages 8 & 9
- Senior Group—Ages 10 & 11
- Leaders in Training—Ages 12, 13, 14 & 15
- Trail Blazers (Girls Only) - Ages 12, 13, 14 & 15
Leaders in Training (LIT) Program
The LIT Program is two weeks and offered for youth ages 12–15. The program is a fun and exciting introduction to taking on leadership roles within our camp community. Our highly skilled staff will mentor and guide the LIT participants through exciting challenges and projects onsite, and provide feedback during the process. Activities include bicycle adventures, foraging for wild edibles, working with hand tools and developing knowledge around species identification.
LIT’s will have the opportunity to practice their new skills by working with a younger camp group in leading a program. This is an exciting way for youth to meet new friends who share similar interests in the outdoors.
Trail Blazers Girls Leadership Camp
This two week session for girls aged 12-15 is aimed at building confidence and learning leadership skills in a comfortable and empowering environment. Participants are mentored by skilled and fun female staff and will focus on activities ranging from bike mechanics to hiking to learning to cook in our outdoor bread oven
Fees & Policies
The Evergreen Adventure Camp costs $400/week per camper. Extended care is available from 3:30–5:30pm for an additional $25 for the full week.

Friend Request Policy
Building a fun, friendly and accepting group of campers is a key goal for Evergreen Adventure Camp, and we encourage all campers to build new friendships. To ensure this, we accept friend requests only if the campers are in the same grade program and session, and we limit the requests to one per camper. Friend requests that are not in the same grade and session group will not be considered. No friend requests are guaranteed.
No refunds will be issued if a reservation is cancelled within 21 days of the session start date. Otherwise, camp fees are refundable, less a $50 administration fee.
What options do I have for camp sessions?
Evergreen Adventure Camp offers two types of a sessions. A one week “Explorer” program and a two week “Adventurer” program. The Adventurer program allows for deeper discovery into the valley and the natural environment around Evergreen Brick Works
What time does camp start?
You can drop off your camper as early as 8:30. Camp begins at 9:00am.
How late can I pick up my camper?
Camp ends at 3:30pm, however for $25 a week you can register for our Extended Care program which runs until 5:30pm
Where can I park?
Evergreen offers a free parking window in all lots from 8:30-9:00am and 3:30-3:45pm every weekday during summer camp. If parking outside those hours you must pay at the meter.
Is lunch provided?
Yes, lunch is catered by Belong Café and is included in the price of registration.
Can my camper be in the same group as their friend?
We do accept friend requests, however we are unable to guarantee placement. Campers must be in the same session and age group to request a friend.
How old does my camper need to be to attend camp?
Campers must be 6 years old by July 4, 2017.
Do you go inside if it rains?
Campers will be outside as much as possible except in the case of extreme weather (thunder, lightning, hail, extreme heat). Camp groups have indoor space accessible to them at all times.
My camper is too old for your mainstream camp. What other opportunities are there at camp for them?
We have a Leaders In Training program designed for ages 12-15. As well, we are always looking for volunteers to support our camp program! Please contact our camp office if you’re interested in volunteering.
You can register online, or over the phone. Once your child is registered, you will receive a confirmation email and be asked to complete the camper information form.

Evergreen Adventure Camp revenues help support our children's programs including the Visiting Schools Program as well as the free community programming on weekends at Evergreen Brick Works.
