Wondering what to do with your old, broken or unused electronics?  Need to toss that television, home theatre or printer?  Looking for a secure place to dispose of your old cell phone, laptop or hard drive? Would you like to make a difference in someone’s life?

Evergreen Brick Works has two great ways to ensure that valuable resources re-enter the supply chain instead of ending up in landfill. To view their locations on our site, click here to download the Visitor's Map (PDF, 1.6 MB).

reBOOT Canada

A valued member of the Evergreen Brick Works community, reBOOT Canada has been using donations of used computers and peripherals to provide subsidized computer equipment and support to individuals and non-profits all across Canada since 1995.

Located on the west side of Building 1, reBOOT Canada accepts computers of all kinds, Monday through Friday, from 9am to 5pm. Donations are eligible for tax-deductible receipts, issued upon request. Data destruction services are also available.

Ontario Electronic Stewardship

Evergreen Brick Works is an authorized Ontario Electronic Stewardship (OES) collection depot to provide you with a place to recycle your electronics, ensuring that valuable resources re-enter the supply chain instead of ending up in landfill.

Evergreen provides two bins for you to recycle your electronics: a secure, locked recycling bin located in the Young Welcome Centre for your smaller electronic devices like cell-phones, hard drives and laptops; and a large, open container located off of our East Parking Lot where you can place your larger items like televisions, speakers and printers. The smaller bin is locked to protect against unauthorized access or theft.

Battery Recycling

Evergreen has also partnered with Call2Recycle Canada, the country’s first and largest consumer battery recycling program.

As a collection site, Evergreen Brick Works invites the public to drop off their used batteries in a small container conveniently located in the Young Welcome Centre during our regular operating hours.  Let’s work together to keep these toxic items out of our landfill!
