The Evergreen Adventure Winter Camp focuses on exploring the winter forest and ravines in Toronto’s Don Valley. Campers aged 6–12 will adventure through the snowed valley discovering the wild side of nature in the winter. We’ll track animals through the snow, learn about survival strategies from the animals that thrive here, look for edibles and build and play in the snow and ice around Evergreen Brick Works.
January 2: Survival Skills
Get in touch with your wild side as we build our practical skills and engage in activities to stay happy and healthy outside.
January 3: Creative Arts
'Tis the season to get crafty! We will be using natural materials to engage our creative minds in a variety of art forms including music, cooking, art and drama.
January 4: Get Active Outdoors
Snow and cold don’t scare us! Join us as we explore fun winter activities in the beautiful Don Valley aimed at keeping our bodies warm and our minds happy.
January 5: Nature Detectives
Someone has stolen all of Squirrel’s acorns and we’ll need all of the help we can get to solve the mystery. We’ll put our nature knowledge to the test to help squirrel locate her food!
