The TD Future Cities Centre is a dynamic year-round space at Evergreen Brick Works to showcase and celebrate ideas and solutions on thriving and sustainable cities from across Canada and the world.

The Centre is a national hub for Future Cities Canada, an initiative that brings together people, platforms and innovations from across sectors to find new ways to address the challenges facing cities. Evergreen is committed to catalyzing change, and the TD Future Cities Centre is where urban thought leaders and city builders can gather, co-create, test and prototype solutions for building inclusive low-carbon cities of the future.

Fully-enclosed for the first time, the Centre – the largest historic building on site - further establishes Evergreen Brick Works as a leading example of adaptive reuse.

The TD Future Cities Centre is also one of the country’s top venues for events, markets, weddings, conferences, speaking series and much more.

Catalyzing Community Solutions: Future Cities Canada Summit

Cities are leading the way. We must support their leaders, scale their innovations, and learn from their ideas to build a more inclusive, a more sustainable and a smarter future for our communities — for us all.

The community solutions — built for, by and with communities — need to be shared.

Get access to these ideas, their creators and their lessons learned at Catalyzing Community Solutions: Future Cities Canada Summit 2019. This two-day event translates the hard work being done at the community level into solutions participants can adapt to fit their specific needs and their local issues.

A special thank you to the McConnell Foundation for supporting the launch of the Future Cities program.

Additional leadership provided by David & Robin Young and Hamilton Community Foundation, and thanks to Toronto Foundation, Atkinson Foundation, Echo Foundation, Lawson Foundation and London Community Foundation for their support.
