Supporting cycling as a healthy, active and sustainable mode of transportation is one of the first steps toward creating healthy, sustainable cities.

Bike Works, Evergreen’s cycling education hub located in the heart of the Don Valley, connects people, cities and nature through the benefits of cycling.

Our team of volunteers, staff, and partner organizations work to promote cycling in Toronto through do-it-yourself public bike repair, mechanical workshops, bike lessons, skills clinics, and community outreach.

Whether you’re fixing a flat, handling your regular maintenance routine, or building a new ride, Bike Works has your covered. Our regular drop-in hours are perfect for you, whether it’s everyday repairs you need to handle or that mystery ticking you can’t figure out.

Bike Mechanic Workshops

Interested in learning how to repair your own bike? Learn with the expert guidance of our supportive staff. Work on your own bike, or borrow one of ours. We have all the tools and materials you need to learn about flat fixes, brake and gear adjustments, wheel and drivetrain maintenance, as well as cable replacement.

Beginner Mountain Bike Rides

Join Bike Works for a weekly mountain bike ride geared toward new riders. Our rides are a safe space to learn new skills from instructors in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

Learn to Bike Lessons

Learn to ride a bike at your own pace and in a safe and encouraging environment with the help of experts at Bike Works.

For ages 6 and up, our skilled instructors will help you get moving, whether it's your first time on two wheels or you're looking to brush up on the foundations of riding a bicycle.

Bike Obstacle Course

Gear up and test your skills on our drop-in bike obstacle course! The obstacle course is appropriate for ages 3 to 93. Try the skinnies, hit the ramps and rollers, or wind your way through the cone course.
