Join us at the Brick Works as we transform one of the most beautiful skating rinks in Toronto into the coolest dancefloor and hang out spot in town!

 

Bring your friends and family to the 2nd annual DJ Skate Nights where you can skate among the trees while the DJ spins your favourite tunes. There will be food vendors, DIY s’more kits for sale, a bar, firepits, an artisan mini-market and giant games. This event is more than just skating! Stay active and connect with winter at DJ Skate Nights.

Our indoor Apres Skate Lounge will be open for you to warm up after skating.

A versatile, open format DJ. playing all genres to craft the perfect set for the crowd. He skillfully combines audience requests and his ability to read the crowd to keep to dancefloor busy until the end of the night. Through his sets you will experience high energy and smooth transitions from hit to hit!

No, this isn’t the music for wall-leaning, drink-sipping, head-bobbing and small talk, this is bass house for booty-shaking, drink-spilling, sweat-dripping, making new friends and showing off fly dance moves.

Food vendors will be available each DJ Skate Night from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

El Salvador: Salvadorian Grill will be dishing up their freshly made Pupusas, filled with flavorful meats or hearty vegetarian ingredients.

There’s tons to do off the rink too!

 

Enjoy s’mores by the fire, or curl up in our cozy lounge with a hot drink. Our Make Your Own S’mores Kits are $8.85 pre tax.

 

Play one of the many games on offer – cornhole, tic tac toe, board games, or indoor curling courtesy of Curling Canada!

FAQ's

Are dogs allowed?
Pets are not allowed in the Koerner Gardens where the rink is located.

 

Can we wear our skates inside?
Skates cannot be worn inside with the exception of following the skate mats to designated washroom areas that will be clearly marked on-site.

 

What’s the best way to get to DJ Skate Nights?
The Shuttle Bus is a free and accessible way to get to Evergreen Brick Works. Leaving every half an hour from Broadview station, our hours are extended to accomodate DJ Skate Nights. Stay tuned for full extended schedule.

 

Can I pay with cash at the door?
We are only accepting payment via TipTap.

 

Can I rent skates? 
We have a limited amount of skates (in all sizes) and helmets available to rent. Helmet rentals are free of charge. Skate rentals are available for a suggested fee of $5 per pair; which will go directly towards supporting free programing at Evergreen Brick Works. Please note we have a very limited supply of skates, so there may be a bit of a wait, but we also have lots of fun things going on inside too!
