Witness the incredible transformation of an industrial site into a green oasis. Visit our gardens, learn about our sustainable agricultural practices, journey into the park where nature always has something new to share, and leave inspired by what can be accomplished in a place where nature and community come together. This hour-long tour takes place entirely outdoors, and covers areas of the industrial site as well as the park beyond.
Journey through time to understand how the industrial past meets the present in a celebration of nature, sustainability, and community. From deep-time geological records to mechanical artifacts, this tour tells the complete story of this land, as you learn how Evergreen reclaimed and revitalized the Brick Works into an award-winning environmental community centre and green-technology showcase. This tour is an hour in length, and will take you across the industrial site and into our historic buildings.
Public tours meet weekly at our Welcome Desk in Building 14 and take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, our History Tour may replace the Nature Tour to ensure the group is able to stay indoors.
We can accommodate 20 people per tour, and it’s first come, first served.
Planning to come with a group of 10 or more? Since this is a free public event, we ask that you not bring a group. Groups of 10 or more are encouraged to book a Private Tour.
