Dust Collector
Published on May 10, 2009
The large swath of black material recently wrapped around the property is just collecting dust—exactly as we’d planned.

Construction can be messy business—site clearing and earth moving stir up dust and dirt that can impact air and water quality. By installing a large silt fence made of filter fabric we can catch much of this eroded material before it blows or washes away.
To further prevent construction debris from entering the storm sewers, we have placed filter fabric over top of existing drains followed by a layer of gravel and stones. With these measures in place we are earning a credit for our Erosion and Sedimentation Control plan toward our LEED-Platinum certification.
