Join us at the market this month to celebrate the bounty of fruits, culminating in The Wild Blueberry Festival on Sunday, August 21. This month we’ll have chef demos throughout the month featuring wild blueberries and the ingredients of the month.

Working together since 2014, Sean Stanley & Miss Dior found instant chemistry with their eclectic mix and passion for Jazz and Blues music. The Sean Stanley Trio & Miss Dior cover jazz standards and blues classics with hits of country, rock, and rhythm and blues, with a fresh take and unique delivery. Their passionate yet playful, improvisations are thoughtful and distinct, sounding like nobody else. They will be joined by Bennet Young on bass and Kenneth Wong on drums.

Visit the Sipping Container this weekend and try out the new Railway City Brewing Orange CreamsicAle*.

*Hand zested fresh oranges, whole vanilla beans, and oats create a full-bodied ale with a silky-smooth finish. Aromas of sweet vanilla and slight citrus notes fill the nose. Orange flavours dominate through the creamy mouth feel, leaving the taste of vanilla on the tongue.

Author and owner of Toronto’s first plant-based cooking studio, Certified Natural Chef, Culinary (Holistic) Nutritionist CNP Marni Wasserman uses her passion and experience to educate individuals  on how to adopt a realistic plant-based diet that is simple and delicious.

In late 2009, 10 months after major aortic-valve surgery, Patrick began to teach himself to play the chromatic button accordion. His repertoire grows monthly and ranges widely including Canadian waltzes & jigs, Irish & Scottish airs & hornpipes, Playford dance tunes, new (and older) French musettes & Tango vals,
