In 2019, thanks to the support of our dedicated donors like you, Evergreen helped thousands of Canadians take ownership of their communities to create greener, more resilient cities of the future! Here are 5 ways you helped.

9,329 children and youth

Visiting from schools across the Greater Toronto Area, thousands of children and youth took part in immersive learning about how nature helps cities thrive.

150 future city builders

In cities across the country, young people came together to develop ideas that will help Canadian cities flourish. After months of brainstorming and workshops, these Future City Builders took to the stage to present their vision for our future! Learn more here.

500,000+ visitors

Hundreds of thousands of visitors experienced sustainable design and practices put into action at Evergreen Brick Works! Our public markets serve as incubators for small businesses, we ran pilot programs in the Children’s Garden, and we got even closer to our target of becoming a carbon-neutral campus with the continued redevelopment of the historic kiln building.

29+ Community Solutions Network events across Canada

Our Community Solutions Network hosted Idea Camps, Collision Days and Community Roundtables events across Canada to help communities navigate the smart cities landscape. Our focus included topics such as security, data, procurement, governance, and public engagement.

700+ summit attendees

At our second annual Future Cities Canada Summit, more than 700 policy makers, civic leaders, and creative urbanists came to Evergreen Brick Works for two days of training and learning. Our cities change when we all work together!

Turning spaces into places. Creating the cities we need, together.

These numbers add up to more than the sum of their parts - and none of it would be possible without you. Please donate now to help us continue to build flourishing cities across Canada in 2020!
