5 Ways to Celebrate Mother’s Day at Evergreen Brick Works

Mothers Day is Sunday, May 8th, and we've come up with a list of 5 fun ways to celebrate your mother this weekend here at Evergreen Brick Works.

Have a Brunch Date
Have weekend brunch at Café Belong. What mom doesn’t want a plate of buttermilk pancakes with warm apple-cinnamon compote or expertly poached eggs benedict with smoked trout? It’s time to treat your favourite lady (and maybe toast her with a mimosa too).

Get Growing
Attend a strawberry planter workshop at the Evergreen Garden Market on Sunday afternoon or just help her build her garden by picking up heirloom tomato plants, native wildflowers or cool garden accessories.  

Shop VQA Wine and Treats
Pick up an incredible bottle of wine at the Evergreen Farmers Market for mom. There are several wineries and vineyards to shop from like Stratus Winery and Flat Rock Cellars. If she's got a sweet tooth, there's plenty of seasonal baked treats and chocolates to spoil her with as well. 

Have a Day Out with Mom
Better yet, have a day out with mom shopping together for local produce and goods in our first outdoor market of the season this Saturday. Make sure to stop by The Sipping Container to grab a tea and catch up! 

Give a Gift that Grows
