Robert champions Evergreen’s efforts to create a Canada-wide network of academics, foundations, governments, and corporations focused on building flourishing future cities. He leads Evergreen’s work with Future Cities Canada and develops novel partnerships and innovations in the key fields of infrastructure, capital, governance, and civic engagement. He is a passionate believer in innovation through collaboration, so Robert builds partnerships that help Evergreen better make flourishing cities.

Robert has spent two decades working on civic asset redevelopment projects in Toronto, such as Wychwood Barns, the Distillery District, and Evergreen Brick Works, and in collective action efforts to make cities better. He holds a Master’s of Fine Arts from the State Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam.
