Megan Brophy

Megan joined Evergreen in 2022. As a program manager, she supports the Climate Ready Schools Hub, as well as the education team’s portfolio, including the Visiting Schools Program, Virtually Outdoors, Land-Based Programs, and Professional Development for Educators.

She brings her experience in science communication and school and public program development from the Ontario Science Centre, and a love of coastal ecosystems and kelp from her time out west with Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre and the Ucluelet Aquarium.

Megan has a BSc from the University of Waterloo, a BEd from Queen's University, and is an OCT. She is passionate about outdoor experiential education, ecology, and supporting children and youth in developing meaningful connections with all our relatives in the natural world.
