Isabel Cascante, PhD

Isabel directs a program portfolio focused on Evergreen’s city building projects, including the Housing Action Lab, 100In1Day, and Future Cities Canada. Her work is driven by a belief in the importance of broad-based coalitions, and her projects work to integrate the strengths and perspectives of all their stakeholders. Isabel is passionate about building networks and working relationships with experts and like-minded city builders, drawing on their knowledge and experience to help drive Evergreen’s mission.

Isabel has over 15 years of teaching, facilitation and management experience in non-profit, private sector, and post-secondary education contexts. She holds BEd from the University of Regina, a BA and MA from the University of Calgary, and a PhD in literature and cultural studies from the University of Toronto.
