Cam Collyer

Cam is the driver behind Evergreen’s efforts to connect children, nature, and the built world. His work gives young people access to the nurturing natural environments and play opportunities that are a key part of flourishing cities. Cam developed Evergreen’s school ground greening program into an international leader in its field and stands as one of Canada’s foremost thought leaders in the fields of outdoor education and school ground design. He has built relationships with numerous Canadian school boards and is the architect of Evergreen’s network of school ground design specialists, ensuring that Evergreen’s programs integrate the field’s leading innovations. He is a co-founder of the International School Ground Alliance and sits on the board of directors of Green Teacher magazine and Green Schoolyards America.
Cam holds a BA in Environmental Studies from Trent University and BEd from Queen’s University.
