Learning Grounds Forum

Toyota Evergreen Learning Grounds is proud to part of the growing movement among landscape designers, architects, teachers, principals, parents and others to design healthy, natural and creative children’s outdoor spaces.

A key component of our work is our annual Learning Grounds Forum, which connects teachers with designers, researchers and specialist educators in a lively exchange of knowledge. You will leave motivated and inspired to create dynamic, safe and sustainable landscapes for children in your community.

Among the activities offered from year to year:

  • Learn from case studies of outdoor landscapes at schools and daycares
  • Participate in design charrettes facilitated by experienced designers
  • Examine educators’ needs in the Outdoor Classroom
  • Discuss the latest research on the design of children’s outdoor spaces
  • Explore Evergreen’s participatory design process
  • Deepen your understanding of a child’s development in nature
