School Ground Greening

Toyota Evergreen Learning Grounds helps schools and their communities create outdoor classrooms, providing students with a healthy place to play, learn and develop a genuine respect for nature.

The Outdoor Classroom Institute will be taking place this August in Toronto, Edmonton, and Winnipeg! Teachers can register now for this unique 3- and 4-day professional development opportunity.

Expert Assistance

  • Contact one of our consultants for help in your area.
  • Check out our workshop series in Vancouver, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Halifax, Durham, and Kitchener/Waterloo.
  • Send us your questions and we'll answer them promptly by email.

Funding and Grants

  • Receive funding for your project, available to Canadian public schools and not-for-profit daycares.
  • Apply early: $500–$2,000 for schools; $500–$1,000 for daycares.
  • Applications are accepted starting in September of each year. The 2009–2010 intake is now closed. Find out more about next year’s intake.
