Evergreen Brick Works wins the Canadian Urban Institute (CUI) annual Brownie Award for Best Heritage and Adaptive Re-Use Project in the country. The CUI program recognizes leadership, innovation and environmental sustainability in brownfield redevelopment across Canada.

The Canadian Dermatology Association (CDA) recognizes Evergreen and the Toronto District School Board with a CDA 2006 Public Education Award in the Not-for-Profit Category for our resource Designing for Shade and Energy Conservation. This publication includes tips for designing green school grounds with shade and energy conservation in mind, to provide year-round comfort and safety for school students and staff.

Evergreen and its program partners receive the British Columbia Parks and Recreation Association (BCRPA) Award for Environmental Leadership for the Everett Crowley Park Management Plan. The award recognizes excellence in the field of Parks and Recreation across British Columbia.
